| Abstract | Advanced neural networks have emerged as powerful computational approaches for addressing complex problem-solving tasks that involve nonlinear relationships, high-dimensional data, uncertainty, and continuously changing environments. Conventional computational techniques frequently encounter limitations when problems require simultaneous pattern recognition, prediction, optimization, and adaptive decision-making. This study examines the application of advanced neural network models to complex problem-solving scenarios, with particular attention to deep neural networks, convolutional neural networks, recurrent neural networks, long short-term memory architectures, and transformer-based models. A qualitative descriptive research design supported by a structured review of contemporary literature was adopted to examine the capabilities, applications, benefits, and limitations of advanced neural architectures. The analysis indicates that neural networks can improve problem-solving performance by learning hierarchical representations, identifying hidden relationships, processing heterogeneous information, and adapting computational responses to complex conditions. However, challenges involving computational requirements, data quality, model interpretability, training instability, generalization, and deployment complexity remain significant. The study concludes that advanced neural network models provide a flexible foundation for complex problem solving, particularly when architecture selection, data preparation, model validation, and responsible implementation are systematically integrated. |
