Abstract The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has created new opportunities for designing intelligent computational frameworks capable of addressing complex technological, organizational, and societal challenges. Conventional computational systems often depend on predefined rules and limited analytical capabilities, making them less adaptable to dynamic environments. AI-enabled computational frameworks provide advanced mechanisms for learning from data, recognizing patterns, predicting outcomes, optimizing processes, and supporting intelligent decision-making. This study examines intelligent computational frameworks using AI for the development of smart solutions and proposes a conceptual architecture integrating data acquisition, preprocessing, intelligent learning, analytical reasoning, optimization, decision support, and continuous adaptation.
A conceptual and descriptive research design is adopted through the synthesis of secondary scholarly literature concerning artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, intelligent computing, optimization, automation, and smart systems. The analysis indicates that AI-based computational frameworks can improve prediction, classification, resource allocation, process automation, anomaly detection, and decision reliability. The proposed framework emphasizes the integration of multiple AI techniques according to the characteristics of the problem and the requirements of the application environment. However, challenges related to data quality, computational complexity, explainability, privacy, cybersecurity, algorithmic bias, and system reliability remain important. The study concludes that intelligent computational frameworks can provide an effective foundation for smart solutions when supported by robust data governance, responsible AI practices, human oversight, continuous monitoring, and adaptive learning mechanisms.
