| Abstract | The rapid expansion of digital technologies has resulted in increasingly complex information systems that generate, process, and exchange large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Traditional data-processing approaches may face limitations when information is heterogeneous, continuously generated, distributed across multiple platforms, or characterized by complex relationships. Intelligent data processing models provide an advanced approach by integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistical analysis, automation, and computational intelligence to transform complex information into meaningful knowledge. This study examines the role of intelligent data processing models in improving the efficiency, accuracy, adaptability, and decision-support capabilities of complex information systems. A qualitative descriptive research design based on secondary academic literature was adopted to examine data-processing architectures, intelligent analytical techniques, machine learning methods, automation mechanisms, and system-level challenges. The analysis considers data acquisition, preprocessing, feature extraction, intelligent modeling, pattern recognition, prediction, anomaly detection, and decision support as interconnected components of modern intelligent data processing. Findings indicate that intelligent models can improve processing efficiency by automating repetitive analytical tasks and identifying complex patterns that may be difficult to detect through conventional methods. However, model effectiveness depends strongly on data quality, computational infrastructure, scalability, interpretability, cybersecurity, and continuous monitoring. Challenges related to biased information, data heterogeneity, model complexity, privacy, and changing data distributions can also influence system reliability. The study concludes that intelligent data processing models provide substantial opportunities for improving complex information systems when supported by robust preprocessing, appropriate model selection, continuous evaluation, and responsible governance. Future developments should emphasize adaptive processing, explainable artificial intelligence, real-time analytics, distributed intelligence, privacy-preserving computation, and human-centered system design. |
