| Abstract | The rapid expansion of digital technologies has significantly increased the volume, complexity, and velocity of information available to modern organizations. As organizations increasingly depend on data-driven operations, automated decision intelligence has emerged as an important approach for transforming complex datasets into timely, consistent, and actionable decisions. Data science models provide the analytical foundation for this transformation by integrating statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive analytics, optimization techniques, data visualization, and intelligent decision-support mechanisms. This study examines data science models for automated decision intelligence and evaluates their contribution to predictive decision-making, pattern identification, risk assessment, resource allocation, operational optimization, and strategic planning. A qualitative descriptive research design based on secondary academic literature was adopted to examine major data science approaches and their applications in automated decision environments. The analysis focuses on descriptive analytics, predictive modeling, classification, regression, clustering, ensemble learning, optimization, anomaly detection, and intelligent decision-support systems. The findings indicate that data science models can substantially improve decision speed and analytical consistency when high-quality data and appropriate computational architectures are available. Predictive models can anticipate future outcomes, classification techniques can support automated categorization, clustering can identify hidden groups, and optimization models can recommend efficient actions under specified constraints. However, automated decision intelligence also creates challenges involving data quality, model interpretability, algorithmic bias, cybersecurity, privacy, changing data distributions, and human oversight. The study concludes that effective automated decision intelligence requires an integrated data science framework combining reliable data, appropriate analytical models, continuous evaluation, explainability, and responsible governance. Future developments should emphasize adaptive models, explainable artificial intelligence, human-centered automation, real-time analytics, privacy-preserving computation, and intelligent systems capable of learning from changing operational environments. |
