| Abstract | Advanced manufacturing automation is increasingly transforming industrial production by integrating robotics, industrial Internet of Things technologies, artificial intelligence, machine vision, computer numerical control, autonomous systems, and intelligent production management. These technologies enable manufacturers to automate repetitive operations, improve production consistency, optimize resource utilization, and support real-time monitoring of manufacturing processes. This paper examines advanced manufacturing automation approaches for industrial productivity enhancement through a conceptual and literature-based analysis. The study focuses on robotic automation, intelligent process control, machine vision, predictive maintenance, digital manufacturing, and data-driven production management. The analysis indicates that integrated automation can improve production efficiency, process consistency, operational visibility, equipment utilization, and responsiveness to changing production requirements. However, implementation is affected by high investment requirements, integration complexity, cybersecurity risks, workforce transformation, legacy equipment, and the need for reliable industrial data. Future research should emphasize collaborative robotics, artificial intelligence-enabled production optimization, digital twins, autonomous manufacturing systems, edge computing, and human-centered automation. Effective manufacturing automation therefore requires coordinated integration of physical production technologies, digital intelligence, industrial connectivity, and skilled human supervision to achieve sustainable and resilient productivity improvements. |
