| Abstract | Intelligent manufacturing frameworks are increasingly shaping digital industrial ecosystems by integrating advanced automation, artificial intelligence, Industrial Internet of Things technologies, cyber-physical systems, digital twins, cloud and edge computing, robotics, and industrial data analytics. These technologies enable manufacturing organizations to connect production equipment, information systems, workers, suppliers, and operational processes within coordinated digital environments. This paper examines intelligent manufacturing frameworks for digital industrial ecosystems through a conceptual and literature-based approach. The study focuses on digital connectivity, intelligent production management, predictive maintenance, automated quality control, data-driven decision-making, interoperability, and human-machine collaboration. The analysis indicates that integrated intelligent manufacturing frameworks can improve production visibility, process coordination, resource utilization, equipment monitoring, quality management, and operational responsiveness. However, implementation is affected by interoperability limitations, cybersecurity threats, data-quality issues, legacy systems, investment requirements, workforce skill gaps, and organizational complexity. Future research should emphasize adaptive manufacturing architectures, interoperable digital platforms, industrial digital twins, edge-based intelligence, collaborative robotics, secure data exchange, and human-centered manufacturing ecosystems. The study concludes that intelligent manufacturing frameworks can provide a foundation for digitally connected, flexible, resilient, and sustainable industrial ecosystems when technological integration is supported by appropriate engineering, organizational, and governance mechanisms. |
