| Abstract | Technology-based healthcare models have become increasingly important for improving healthcare accessibility, service efficiency, information management, and long-term sustainability. Digital health platforms, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things technologies, telemedicine, electronic health records, wearable devices, cloud computing, and advanced healthcare analytics provide opportunities to strengthen healthcare delivery while responding to changing population needs. This study examines technology-based healthcare models for sustainable development, with emphasis on digital healthcare delivery, intelligent information systems, remote monitoring, healthcare resource management, preventive care, and data-driven decision support. A qualitative descriptive and conceptual research design was adopted using secondary academic literature. The analysis identifies digital health infrastructure, AI-supported healthcare systems, connected monitoring technologies, telemedicine, electronic health records, and predictive analytics as important technological components of sustainable healthcare models. These technologies can support efficient resource utilization, continuous patient monitoring, improved information accessibility, and broader healthcare service delivery. However, implementation remains affected by digital inequality, infrastructure limitations, cybersecurity risks, privacy concerns, interoperability problems, financial requirements, data quality, and workforce readiness. Sustainable healthcare transformation requires technologies that are scalable, secure, affordable, interoperable, and appropriate for diverse healthcare environments. The study concludes that technology-based healthcare models can contribute to sustainable healthcare development when technological innovation is integrated with effective governance, human expertise, equitable access, environmental considerations, and continuous system evaluation. |
