Author(s) Prof. Dr. Wong Su Luan

Abstract Technology-driven teaching models are transforming modern education by integrating artificial intelligence, learning analytics, digital platforms, cloud computing, mobile technologies, virtual learning environments, and interactive instructional resources into teaching practices. These models provide opportunities to improve instructional flexibility, personalization, collaboration, assessment, and learner engagement while supporting educators in making data-informed instructional decisions. This study examines technology-driven teaching models for modern education systems, focusing on blended learning, adaptive instruction, intelligent tutoring, technology-enhanced assessment, collaborative digital learning, and data-supported teaching. A qualitative descriptive and conceptual research design was adopted using secondary academic literature. The analysis indicates that technology-driven models can provide flexible learning pathways, personalized content, immediate feedback, continuous assessment, and expanded access to educational resources.
Artificial intelligence can support adaptive instruction and automated academic assistance, while learning analytics can provide information concerning learner progress and participation. Nevertheless, implementation challenges involving infrastructure, digital inequality, teacher preparedness, cybersecurity, data privacy, technological complexity, and learner digital literacy can influence their effectiveness. Modern education systems therefore require pedagogically aligned technologies, teacher professional development, accessible infrastructure, secure data governance, and continuous evaluation. The study concludes that technology-driven teaching models can strengthen modern education when digital innovation is integrated with human teaching expertise, learner-centered design, institutional planning, and inclusive educational practices.
