| Abstract | Advanced learning technologies are reshaping higher education by integrating artificial intelligence, learning analytics, adaptive learning, immersive environments, cloud computing, mobile technologies, virtual classrooms, and intelligent educational platforms into teaching and learning processes. These technologies provide opportunities to improve personalized instruction, learner engagement, academic monitoring, assessment, collaboration, accessibility, and institutional decision-making. This study examines advanced learning technologies for higher education transformation, focusing on artificial intelligence, adaptive learning systems, learning analytics, intelligent tutoring, virtual and augmented reality, digital assessment, mobile learning, and collaborative technologies. A qualitative descriptive and conceptual research design was adopted using secondary academic literature. The analysis indicates that advanced learning technologies can support individualized learning pathways, flexible educational delivery, continuous assessment, intelligent feedback, and data-informed academic interventions. Learning analytics can assist institutions in monitoring learner progression, while AI-enabled systems can provide personalized recommendations and automated academic support. Immersive technologies can create experiential learning environments, particularly for disciplines requiring practical or simulated experiences. However, challenges involving digital inequality, infrastructure, privacy, cybersecurity, teacher preparedness, technological complexity, accessibility, and ethical data use may constrain implementation. Sustainable higher education transformation requires pedagogically aligned technologies, institutional planning, faculty development, secure digital infrastructure, and learner-centered implementation. The study concludes that advanced learning technologies can contribute substantially to higher education transformation when technological innovation is integrated with human teaching expertise, inclusive educational practices, responsible governance, and continuous evaluation. |
