| Abstract | Learning Management Systems (LMS) have become important digital infrastructures for modern educational administration by integrating teaching, learning, assessment, communication, academic monitoring, and institutional information management within centralized platforms. The increasing adoption of cloud computing, learning analytics, artificial intelligence, mobile technologies, and digital collaboration has expanded the administrative capabilities of LMS environments. This study examines Learning Management Systems for efficient educational administration, focusing on centralized information management, academic monitoring, digital assessment, communication, resource coordination, learner records, faculty administration, analytics, and institutional decision support. A qualitative descriptive and conceptual research design was adopted using secondary academic literature. The analysis indicates that LMS platforms can streamline routine administrative activities by organizing courses, learner records, assessments, instructional resources, communication, and academic progress within integrated digital environments. Learning analytics can provide administrators with information concerning participation and progression, while automated workflows can reduce repetitive administrative activities. Cloud-based LMS platforms can also improve accessibility and facilitate coordination among students, faculty, and administrators. However, implementation challenges include infrastructure limitations, data privacy, cybersecurity, interoperability, faculty adoption, digital literacy, system complexity, and maintenance costs. Effective LMS implementation requires institutional planning, user training, secure data governance, interoperable infrastructure, and continuous system evaluation. The study concludes that LMS platforms can contribute to efficient educational administration when technological capabilities are aligned with institutional processes, administrative requirements, pedagogical objectives, and responsible data-management practices. |
