| Abstract | Smart learning platforms are increasingly influencing educational systems by integrating artificial intelligence, learning analytics, cloud computing, adaptive learning, mobile technologies, digital content, and collaborative tools. These platforms can provide flexible and personalized learning experiences while supporting teachers and institutions in monitoring learner participation, academic progression, and educational outcomes. This study examines smart learning platforms for global education advancement, focusing on their technological components, educational applications, personalization capabilities, collaborative functions, and potential contribution to inclusive digital education. A qualitative descriptive and conceptual research design was adopted using secondary academic literature. The analysis indicates that smart learning platforms can improve access to educational resources, personalized instruction, learner engagement, digital collaboration, continuous assessment, and data-informed academic support. AI-enabled recommendation systems can facilitate individualized learning pathways, while learning analytics can support monitoring and early identification of learning difficulties. Cloud infrastructure and mobile technologies can extend educational access across geographical locations, while multilingual and adaptive digital resources can support diverse learner populations. However, global implementation faces challenges involving digital inequality, connectivity limitations, language diversity, accessibility, data privacy, cybersecurity, teacher preparedness, technological costs, and institutional capacity. The study concludes that smart learning platforms can contribute to global education advancement when technological innovation is combined with inclusive design, appropriate pedagogy, reliable infrastructure, teacher participation, responsible data governance, and context-sensitive implementation strategies. |
