| Abstract | Sustainable management has become an important organizational approach for balancing economic performance, environmental responsibility, social development, and long-term institutional resilience. Contemporary organizations face increasing pressure to manage resources efficiently, reduce environmental impacts, strengthen employee well-being, improve stakeholder relationships, and maintain sustainable business performance. This study examines sustainable management practices for future organizational development through a conceptual and literature-based research design. The analysis focuses on sustainable leadership, resource efficiency, environmental management, employee engagement, responsible supply-chain management, stakeholder participation, corporate social responsibility, sustainable innovation, digital transformation, and organizational resilience. An integrated framework is proposed connecting organizational sustainability objectives, stakeholder expectations, resource assessment, sustainable strategy formulation, implementation, performance measurement, and continuous improvement. Sustainable management practices can support long-term organizational development by integrating environmental and social considerations into strategic and operational decisions. However, effective implementation may be constrained by financial limitations, organizational resistance, inadequate sustainability capabilities, weak measurement systems, supply-chain complexity, and difficulties in balancing short-term business priorities with long-term sustainability objectives. Future research should investigate sustainable digital transformation, circular business models, green innovation, sustainable human-resource management, ESG-oriented performance systems, climate-resilient organizations, and technology-enabled sustainability monitoring. The proposed framework provides a conceptual foundation for organizations seeking to integrate sustainability into management practices and develop resilient, responsible, and adaptable organizational structures for future growth. |
