| Abstract | Digital business models are increasingly influencing economic transformation by changing how organizations create value, deliver products and services, engage customers, and coordinate business activities. The integration of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data analytics, digital platforms, blockchain, Internet of Things, and mobile technologies has created new possibilities for scalable and technology-enabled business development. This study examines digital business models for future economic transformation, focusing on digital platforms, data-driven value creation, technological innovation, digital entrepreneurship, customer engagement, operational transformation, and organizational capabilities. A qualitative descriptive and conceptual research design was adopted using secondary academic literature. The analysis indicates that digital business models can improve market accessibility, operational flexibility, customer engagement, innovation, and organizational responsiveness. Platform-based models can connect multiple stakeholder groups, while data-driven models can support personalized services and evidence-informed decision-making. Cloud-based infrastructure can facilitate scalability, and emerging technologies can support new approaches to products, services, and transactions. However, digital transformation also presents challenges related to cybersecurity, privacy, digital inequality, technological complexity, workforce capabilities, regulatory adaptation, and organizational resistance. The study concludes that future economic transformation requires organizations to integrate digital technologies with strategic planning, organizational capabilities, responsible governance, workforce development, and sustainable innovation. Effective digital business models should remain adaptable to changing technological, economic, institutional, and customer environments. |
