Author(s) Reyes González

Abstract Smart management frameworks are becoming increasingly important for digital organizations seeking to coordinate technological resources, organizational processes, workforce capabilities, and strategic decision-making. The integration of artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, Internet of Things, digital platforms, and automation has changed conventional management practices and created new requirements for organizational adaptability. This study examines smart management frameworks for digital organizations, focusing on intelligent decision-making, digital leadership, data-driven management, process automation, workforce coordination, organizational agility, and technology-enabled strategic planning.
A qualitative descriptive and conceptual research design was adopted using secondary academic literature. The analysis indicates that smart management frameworks can support real-time information processing, operational coordination, strategic responsiveness, resource optimization, and continuous organizational learning. Data-driven management enables organizations to utilize information for planning and performance evaluation, while artificial intelligence can support forecasting and decision processes. Cloud technologies and digital platforms can facilitate collaboration and distributed organizational operations. However, effective implementation is influenced by cybersecurity, data privacy, technological complexity, employee skills, organizational resistance, governance requirements, and integration challenges.
The study emphasizes that smart management should combine technological capabilities with human expertise, organizational learning, responsible governance, and strategic alignment. The findings suggest that digital organizations require flexible management frameworks capable of responding to technological developments, changing customer expectations, competitive pressures, and evolving economic conditions.
