| Abstract | Business intelligence (BI) has become an important organizational capability for transforming complex business data into meaningful information for managerial decision-making. The integration of data warehouses, business analytics, dashboards, data visualization, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and predictive analytics enables organizations to examine operational activities, identify patterns, monitor performance, and support strategic planning. This study examines business intelligence frameworks for effective decision-making, with particular attention to data integration, analytical processing, performance measurement, visualization, predictive intelligence, and managerial decision support. A qualitative descriptive and conceptual research design was adopted using secondary academic literature. The analysis indicates that BI frameworks can improve information accessibility, analytical consistency, organizational responsiveness, and evidence-based decision-making. Dashboards and visualization tools can support real-time performance monitoring, while predictive analytics can assist organizations in identifying emerging trends and potential business outcomes. However, effective BI implementation depends on data quality, technological infrastructure, analytical capabilities, organizational culture, governance, and management support. Challenges include fragmented data sources, data quality problems, information overload, cybersecurity risks, implementation costs, and limited analytical expertise. The study emphasizes that business intelligence should be integrated with organizational strategy and decision-making processes rather than implemented solely as a technological solution. Effective BI frameworks require alignment among data, technology, analytical processes, employees, leadership, and organizational objectives. The study provides a conceptual foundation for understanding how business intelligence can support operational, tactical, and strategic decision-making in modern organizations. |
