| Abstract | Technology-enabled leadership has emerged as an important organizational capability as businesses increasingly integrate artificial intelligence, digital platforms, data analytics, cloud computing, automation, and collaborative technologies into strategic and operational activities. Digital transformation has changed leadership responsibilities by increasing the importance of data-informed decision-making, technological awareness, organizational agility, innovation management, virtual collaboration, and continuous learning. This study examines technology-enabled leadership models for business innovation through a conceptual and literature-based research design. The study focuses on digital leadership capabilities, technology-supported decision-making, innovation-oriented organizational culture, digital collaboration, employee empowerment, knowledge sharing, and strategic technology adoption. An integrated framework is proposed connecting organizational context, technological capabilities, leadership competencies, digital collaboration, innovation processes, implementation, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement. Technology-enabled leadership can facilitate faster information exchange, collaborative problem-solving, experimentation, organizational learning, and innovation-oriented decision-making. However, organizations face challenges involving technological complexity, employee resistance, digital skill gaps, cybersecurity, information overload, organizational culture, and uncertainty surrounding emerging technologies. The study emphasizes that effective technology-enabled leadership involves more than technology adoption; it requires leaders to align technological capabilities with organizational objectives, employee needs, innovation priorities, and responsible governance. Future research should investigate artificial intelligence-supported leadership, human-AI collaboration, digital leadership competencies, virtual leadership, algorithmic decision support, technology-enabled organizational learning, and innovation ecosystems. The proposed framework provides a conceptual foundation for understanding how leadership can strategically utilize emerging technologies to strengthen business innovation, organizational adaptability, and long-term competitive capabilities. |
