Technology-Driven Entrepreneurship Models for Future Markets

| Abstract | Technology-driven entrepreneurship has become an important mechanism for creating innovative ventures, developing new markets, and transforming conventional business activities. Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data analytics, blockchain, Internet of Things, automation, digital platforms, and mobile technologies are reshaping entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, product development, customer engagement, business operations, and market expansion. This study examines technology-driven entrepreneurship models for future markets through a conceptual and literature-based research approach. The analysis develops an integrated framework connecting technological infrastructure, entrepreneurial capabilities, opportunity recognition, digital innovation, business-model transformation, market access, scalability, ecosystem participation, and sustainable entrepreneurial outcomes. Technology-driven entrepreneurship can enable ventures to identify emerging customer needs, reduce selected barriers to market participation, access geographically dispersed customers, and develop flexible business models. However, technology-oriented entrepreneurs face challenges involving financing, technological skills, cybersecurity, data governance, infrastructure, regulatory uncertainty, market competition, and rapid technological change. The study emphasizes that technological adoption alone does not guarantee entrepreneurial success; sustainable venture development requires integration of technological capabilities with market knowledge, strategic planning, human capital, innovation, organizational resilience, and responsible governance. Future research should investigate artificial intelligence-enabled entrepreneurship, autonomous digital ventures, platform ecosystems, sustainable technology entrepreneurship, digital inclusion, entrepreneurial resilience, and technology-enabled social innovation. The study provides a conceptual foundation for understanding the role of technology-driven entrepreneurship in shaping emerging markets and supporting long-term entrepreneurial development. |
