| Abstract | Technology-oriented development has increasingly influenced economic structures, productivity patterns, innovation processes, employment systems, and national competitiveness. The integration of artificial intelligence, automation, digital platforms, advanced manufacturing, information and communication technologies, and data-driven systems has created new opportunities for economic development while simultaneously introducing structural challenges. Advanced economic models provide analytical mechanisms for examining the relationships among technological progress, capital investment, human capital, innovation, productivity, employment, and sustainable economic growth. This study examines advanced economic models for technology-oriented development, focusing on technological innovation, productivity enhancement, digital investment, human-capital development, industrial transformation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive economic growth. The analysis identifies technological innovation, research and development, digital infrastructure, skilled labour, institutional capacity, and investment as major factors influencing technology-oriented economic development. Advanced technologies can contribute to productivity improvement, resource optimization, market expansion, and new business formation. However, technology-oriented development may also produce challenges involving labour displacement, digital inequality, skills shortages, infrastructure gaps, cybersecurity, investment requirements, and unequal distribution of technological benefits. The study emphasizes the importance of integrated economic models that connect technological capabilities with human capital, institutional development, innovation ecosystems, and long-term economic objectives. Technology-oriented development should therefore be examined not only through technological adoption but also through its implications for productivity, employment, investment, competitiveness, and social inclusion. The study provides a conceptual foundation for researchers, organizations, and economic planners examining the relationship between technological advancement and sustainable economic development. |
