| Abstract | Digital transformation has fundamentally changed supply chain management by enabling organizations to integrate information, coordinate activities, monitor operations, and respond more rapidly to changing market conditions. Digital supply chain strategies incorporate technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things, cloud computing, blockchain, big data analytics, automation, digital twins, and real-time visibility platforms to improve operational efficiency. This study examines digital supply chain strategies for operational efficiency through a conceptual and literature-based research approach. The study focuses on digital supply chain visibility, predictive analytics, intelligent inventory management, demand forecasting, logistics optimization, supplier collaboration, warehouse automation, digital integration, and supply chain resilience. An integrated framework is developed connecting digital infrastructure, data integration, intelligent analytics, collaborative platforms, operational processes, decision support, and performance outcomes. The analysis indicates that digital supply chain strategies can support improved information visibility, inventory coordination, demand responsiveness, logistics planning, process automation, supplier management, and operational decision-making. However, successful implementation is influenced by data quality, technological infrastructure, interoperability, cybersecurity, investment requirements, employee capabilities, organizational readiness, and resistance to change. Digital transformation should therefore be approached as an integrated organizational and technological process rather than as the adoption of isolated digital tools. The study emphasizes the importance of real-time information, cross-functional coordination, technology integration, continuous monitoring, and adaptive decision-making for improving supply chain efficiency. Future research should examine AI-enabled autonomous supply chains, digital twins, intelligent logistics, predictive disruption management, blockchain-enabled traceability, sustainable digital supply chains, and human-technology collaboration. The study provides a conceptual foundation for organizations seeking to improve supply chain efficiency, responsiveness, resilience, transparency, and long-term operational performance through digital strategies. |
