| Abstract | Sustainable technologies have become increasingly important for addressing environmental degradation, resource depletion, climate-related pressures, and growing demands for efficient resource utilization. Technological development can support environmental protection by improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions, conserving natural resources, enabling renewable-energy generation, strengthening waste management, and supporting data-driven environmental monitoring. This study examines sustainable technology models for environmental protection, focusing on renewable energy technologies, smart environmental monitoring, circular-economy technologies, green infrastructure, sustainable transportation, intelligent resource management, and digital environmental analytics. A qualitative descriptive and conceptual research design was adopted using secondary academic literature. The analysis explores how integrated technology models can support environmental sustainability by combining sensing systems, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things technologies, renewable energy, advanced materials, and resource-efficient production methods. Smart environmental monitoring can provide real-time information about air quality, water quality, biodiversity, soil conditions, and pollution levels. Renewable technologies can reduce dependence on fossil-based energy systems, while circular technologies can support material recovery, reuse, recycling, and waste minimization. Artificial intelligence and data analytics can improve environmental prediction and decision-making by processing large and complex datasets. However, the adoption of sustainable technologies can be affected by high initial costs, technological complexity, infrastructure limitations, insufficient technical expertise, policy gaps, and difficulties in measuring long-term environmental outcomes. The study emphasizes integrated sustainable technology models that connect technological innovation with resource conservation, environmental monitoring, circular production, clean energy, and responsible governance. Future research should investigate intelligent environmental systems, AI-enabled sustainability management, low-carbon technologies, circular digital platforms, smart water management, sustainable materials, and technology models designed for different socioeconomic and environmental contexts. |
