| Abstract | The rapid expansion of digital technologies is transforming economic, social, environmental, and institutional systems while creating new opportunities and challenges for sustainable development. Digital future ecosystems increasingly integrate artificial intelligence, Internet of Things technologies, cloud computing, big-data analytics, digital twins, blockchain, smart infrastructure, and intelligent automation. This study examines sustainable development strategies for digital future ecosystems through a conceptual and descriptive research approach. The study focuses on digital sustainability, intelligent resource management, green digital infrastructure, circular technology systems, inclusive digital services, sustainable innovation, data governance, and technology-enabled environmental management. An integrated framework is proposed connecting sustainability assessment, digital infrastructure, intelligent resource optimization, inclusive innovation, circularity, governance, impact evaluation, and continuous improvement. The analysis indicates that digital ecosystems can improve resource efficiency, environmental monitoring, service accessibility, operational productivity, and sustainability decision-making. AI and analytics can support predictive resource management, while IoT systems can provide real-time information about energy, water, transportation, buildings, and industrial processes. Digital platforms can also facilitate collaboration among governments, businesses, researchers, communities, and technology providers. However, digital transformation can create challenges involving energy consumption, electronic waste, data privacy, cybersecurity, digital inequality, infrastructure costs, technological dependency, and skills shortages. Sustainable digital development therefore requires lifecycle assessment, responsible technology governance, green computing, inclusive access, interoperable systems, and continuous evaluation of environmental and socioeconomic outcomes. Future research should examine AI-enabled sustainable ecosystems, low-carbon digital infrastructure, circular digital technologies, intelligent cities, digital public services, sustainable data centers, and integrated sustainability metrics. The proposed framework provides a structured basis for aligning digital transformation with long-term environmental protection, social inclusion, economic resilience, and responsible technological development. |
