| Abstract | Emerging technologies are increasingly shaping approaches to environmental protection, resource efficiency, climate adaptation, sustainable production, and inclusive development. Artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, blockchain, robotics, digital twins, advanced materials, biotechnology, renewable-energy technologies, and big-data analytics can provide new mechanisms for addressing complex sustainability challenges. This study examines future sustainability solutions based on emerging technologies, with particular attention to intelligent resource management, clean energy, sustainable agriculture, smart infrastructure, environmental monitoring, circular economy systems, and climate-resilient development. A qualitative descriptive research design was adopted using secondary academic literature and thematic analysis. The findings indicate that emerging technologies can improve sustainability through predictive analytics, real-time monitoring, automation, optimization, decentralized systems, and improved information sharing. AI-based systems can support environmental prediction and resource allocation, while IoT technologies can enable continuous monitoring of energy, water, agriculture, and urban infrastructure. Digital twins can facilitate scenario modelling, and advanced materials can support more efficient energy and industrial applications. However, technological implementation is associated with challenges involving investment costs, infrastructure requirements, digital inequality, cybersecurity, technical skills, regulatory uncertainty, energy consumption, and electronic waste. Future sustainability strategies should therefore integrate technological innovation with lifecycle assessment, inclusive access, responsible governance, circular resource management, and context-specific implementation. The study concludes that emerging technologies can strengthen future sustainability solutions when technological advancement is systematically connected with environmental, economic, and social objectives. |
