| Abstract | Global challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity, population growth, public health risks, food insecurity, energy transitions, environmental degradation, and socioeconomic inequality require innovative and scalable solutions. Technology-based approaches are increasingly contributing to the development of intelligent systems capable of monitoring, predicting, optimizing, and managing complex global problems. This study examines technology-based solutions for future global challenges, focusing on artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, renewable energy, biotechnology, advanced materials, blockchain, robotics, big-data analytics, and smart infrastructure. A qualitative descriptive research design was adopted using secondary academic literature and thematic analysis. The analysis identifies major technological applications in climate monitoring, sustainable energy, precision agriculture, healthcare, water management, disaster preparedness, circular economy systems, and intelligent infrastructure. Findings indicate that technology can strengthen predictive decision-making, resource efficiency, environmental monitoring, service accessibility, and institutional responsiveness. However, implementation is affected by financial constraints, infrastructure gaps, cybersecurity threats, data limitations, technological inequality, environmental impacts, and governance challenges. The study emphasizes that technological solutions should be evaluated according to their technical effectiveness as well as their social, economic, environmental, and ethical implications. Future research should explore integrated intelligent systems, climate-resilient technologies, inclusive digital infrastructure, sustainable biotechnology, AI-enabled global monitoring, and human-centered technology governance. The study concludes that technology-based solutions can contribute substantially to addressing future global challenges when technological innovation is integrated with sustainable development principles, responsible governance, interdisciplinary collaboration, and equitable access. |
