| Abstract | Advanced digital ecosystems have become important mechanisms for supporting knowledge creation, sharing, integration, and application across organizations and research communities. The development of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big-data analytics, Internet of Things technologies, digital platforms, knowledge graphs, and collaborative systems has transformed conventional approaches to knowledge-based development. This study examines advanced digital ecosystems and their contribution to knowledge-based development through a conceptual and descriptive research approach. The study focuses on digital knowledge infrastructure, intelligent information processing, collaborative knowledge creation, data integration, organizational learning, innovation, digital platforms, and adaptive ecosystem management. An integrated framework is proposed connecting digital infrastructure, data generation, knowledge acquisition, intelligent processing, collaborative exchange, knowledge application, innovation development, and continuous learning. The analysis indicates that advanced digital ecosystems can improve knowledge accessibility, analytical capabilities, collaboration, organizational learning, and innovation potential. Artificial intelligence can support intelligent knowledge discovery, while big-data analytics can identify patterns across complex information resources. Cloud platforms enable scalable knowledge sharing, and knowledge graphs can establish relationships between concepts, organizations, datasets, and research outputs. Human expertise remains essential for interpreting knowledge, evaluating computational outputs, establishing contextual relevance, and making responsible decisions. The study emphasizes that digital ecosystems should be developed as interconnected socio-technical environments rather than isolated technological systems. Future research should examine intelligent knowledge ecosystems, AI-supported organizational learning, federated data environments, digital knowledge platforms, adaptive knowledge networks, and human-AI collaborative development models. The proposed framework provides a structured foundation for understanding how advanced digital ecosystems can support knowledge-based development through integrated digital infrastructure, intelligent analytics, collaborative knowledge processes, innovation, and continuous organizational learning. |
